Glenlo Abbey Estate - Galway

The staff alone is worthy of five stars! The overwhelming kindness extended to our family, at the door, at check in, throughout our stay, and even as we exited the property will be remembered. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and wish we could’ve stayed longer. If the beds were a little softer this place would be perfection. Worth the expense to stay here and don’t skip on the falconry experience.

We had an excellent Experience staying at Glenlo Abbey! Our room was clean, spacious, bright, and comfortable. All of the staff throughout our stay was extremely friendly, helpful, and energetic. We had dinner in the Pullman Traincar, which was excellent, as well as breakfast in the river Room and dinner in the Palmer Restaurant. We also did the Falconry Experience with Jason, and that was absolutely class! Cannot recommend staying here enough if you are in this area.

Gorgeous. Can't complain. But I didn't personally see how it was worth 2-3 times the price of other hotels. However staff were amazing, views were amazing and they had great vegan options for dinner and breakfast. Incredible attention to detail in all aspects and a really nice setting.

All perfect. The treatment of the staff, the room, the location, the food (with many gluten-free options). Galway and its region are wonderful. Special thanks to Carmen who took wonderful care of us at breakfast. The only pity was having to leave.

Beautiful luxury hotel near Galway. Booked at the last moment for a night with breakfast included and I was fascinated by the beauty and majesty of the hotel, which includes a huge golf course, a garden, a spa, a coach restaurant, a bar room, an internal restaurant. The rooms are really spacious and well-kept in detail, even room service to communicate with customers is excellent. Inside the room you can find Bulgari products; the minibar offers alcoholic products and not the most famous brands. The breakfast is very varied but I was not impressed by the quality offered, for a hotel of this kind I expected more, but I admit that the Italian standards of a buffet breakfast are high and hardly replicable elsewhere with the same quality. The staff service is commendable. Congratulations to the staff and staff who offer their professionalism with a lot of dedication.
