Willie G's Seafood Steaks - Galveston

Great food! The mixed grilled Platter was huge fresh. We had lunch outside on the covered patio. You could see the water tour boats. We even spotted a dolphin! It's located on Pier 21. Great location and service. Highly recommend.

I left here on Saturday night. Parking was close and paid by the restaurant when you dine there. The atmosphere is casual, most people wore shorts and T-shirts. We made reservations from Google and sat immediately while people without reservations had to wait an hour, so recommend making reservations on weekends. We could get a couch with a table on the terrace overlooking Galveston Harbor. The view was fantastic and it made for a great date night for my wife and me. Our waitress Daris was prompt, friendly and attentive. We started with the Crab and Spinach Stuffed Shells that were delicious! I had the Fried Seafood Platter, who was huge and cooked for perfection with a lot of taste. My wife had the act that was a little boiled, but tolerable. She hates sending things back so she treats it. The drinks were on site. We had the chocolate eruption for desert and it was also delicious! Total great experience for a casual date night in Galveston.

We made dinner reservations and thank God. It was full. We had different dishes. I added photos so you can know how the food is presented. Big gumbo, fresh Caesar salad and scallops. The oysters were a bit small for my taste, but the taste was decent. Lives this place and will return.

I took my mother to Galveston's mother's day and we enjoyed a great lunch in Willie G's. They offered a special Mother's Day menu and everything we ordered was delicious! The service was great, it was not too crowded as we had previously made reservations, and as usual the view was very nice due to the great location of the restaurant. You have validated our parking lot and we could walk around the beach for a few hours! It is definitely one of our Go-to-Spots when visiting the island!

We loved this place so much the first time we went that we went back the next day. Perfect, peaceful, totally shaded outdoor area with couches and tables with view of water where boating tours take off from (fun to watch). All day happy hour (11am to 7pm) with great drinks. Servers are perfect as is the food. Much better experience, quality and prices vs the Seawall. Entire staff very welcoming of our dog.
