フィードバックを提供するUpon arriving, we were informed that our table was ready and that we should head up while our server would guide us to it. However, when we reached the designated area, the server told us there was still a one-hour wait. Confused, we reminded him that we were notified our table was ready. He then led us to the terrace, but another server there reiterated that we would have to wait another hour. Finally, we were seated, and our drinks arrived quickly. Yet, twenty minutes later, our server informed us that the kitchen was backed up, and we ended up waiting an additional forty minutes for our food. When our meals finally arrived, they were lukewarm. The kids were hungry and ate quickly, but by that point, my appetite was completely gone. I could only manage to eat enough just to get by until breakfast the next morning. In summary, we waited an hour just to sit and then another hour for our food. This was an utter waste of time and $162. It did not live up to the reviews or the price. I will definitely not be returning on my next visit.
I absolutely love Fish Tales! We're starting at the top of the menu and making our way through each dish because everything is so tasty! The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the views of Pleasure Pier, the beach, the ship channel, and even the constant flow of traffic are always fantastic. I've never had a bad experience here!
We absolutely loved this restaurant! We ordered the black red snapper, a Caesar salad, and the seafood plate, and everything was fantastic. The oysters on the half-shell were beautiful, salty, and incredibly fresh. We also enjoyed some cold beers and a refreshing drink with lime. The service was excellent and quick, even with the motorcycle rally happening nearby.
The food and service were outstanding! Thank you, Steve, for taking such great care of us. The meals were fresh and delicious, and the drinks were perfect.
So, why the 4-star review? The service and atmosphere were definitely a highlight, but I deducted one star because not all of the food met our expectations. We spent around $300 on our meal, and while the adult entrees were quite eclectic, they didn't quite hit the mark for us. On the other hand, the six kids in our group really enjoyed their meals, which were simple and to their liking. To be frank, both the fish and shrimp dishes lacked authenticity in flavor, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a good experience, but there’s room for improvement in the food quality for adults.
