River Rock Brewery - Galt

Food was great, beer was great, excellent service. My husband and I each have a beer and we were not disappointed. Our Favs: Honey wheat and oat flakes! Our waitress went beyond and beyond to meet our needs for food allergies. We will definitely go back!

Hopefully they changed some things with the new move. But I did not like their beer at all, even on tap. I really appreciate a good stout but theirs was just not doing it for me. The laid back vibe, is also waaay too laid back in my opinion. I'm not saying you have to go all out with decor, but having an attractive environment is always a plus.

Ugh... With all due respect, one of the worst tasting breweries I 've ever visited. Most beers on tap left me saying, ew. I appreciate beer, craft, and presentation. The only thing River Rock has going for it is atmosphere: super laid back, with games and casual home-brew from the garage environment. But they 'd be better off serving other maker 's brews and bring a taphouse/bar. Good luck, brew better.

Great place. Though it's a micro brewery, it's family oriented serving food...Taco Tuesday's is absolutely the best!! Children are encouraged to play with the toys provided and adults can play cards or board games, I think. Super casual. Hoping this little place sees much success!

When I went, they had 4 beers on tap, and the standout was their Red. I'm hoping to come back for the stout eventually. The building is really open and it kind of looks like they are still sort of organizing and moving in. Which makes it feel more like visiting a home brewer's place and trying out their beers than most of the commercial tap rooms that open these days. But there isn't anything wrong with that right? They had seating, they had beer, they even had a pool table. And if you want some homebrew supplies to make your own stuff at home, they have some of that too!
