Mcclure’s - Gallipolis

Truthfully, I would rate McClures a 4.5 or so. It appears to be a family owned place; very well taken care of. It is clean and well decorated. The food variety is pretty extensive including cold brews. The service was friendly and fast. We would visit again. P.S. my husband says the fried bologna is delicious.

The footers sauce are very delicious. The sauce is delicious. You get more sauce, onions, toppings here than anywhere I’ve been in Ohio, W. Va., or Ky. In the last 20 years, or so. Great! Their little antiques knick-knacks are terrific. Lots of them.

Always very friendly and tasty. I’ve yet to find something I didn’t enjoy! Kid-friendliness: A variety of kid-friendly options. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps on both sides of the entrance.

Mclures Middleport we walked to after track practice in jr high. The peach pit (90210) of our area and generation. Pomeroy one was added both great Gallipolis had one then mcArthur got one. But the prices went way up and they closed it. This is a landmark to some the sonny burger is legendary!!!! That golden goodness soaked into the middle bun !! what???? Omg have to give it a try you will love it.

The shakes are good. I wasn't really impressed with the food. I got a burger and fries. Thought it was a little pricey for what you received too. Parking: Large parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Kids would be fine here.
