Taco Hide Out - Galesburg

Excellent food and friendly staff! We really appreciate the owner, Jack; he's a fantastic person. LeRoy and the team of girls working there are also wonderful. You couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy a meal with friends.

When I first visited this restaurant, I noticed there was even a bathtub in the bathroom! It feels like a house where these amazing people decided to share their food with the community. Back in 1968, I would order my pregnant daughter her favorite dish: three tacos for just a dollar. I often ended up eating three orders myself! It wasn't long before I discovered her enchiladas, which I still crave living in Florida—I truly miss them. No one makes them better. Taco Hideout is always a must-visit whenever I'm in town.

My parents have been visiting this place since 1962, and we've always considered it a special spot. The Perez family truly embodies pride and is an outstanding part of the community. The food is prepared with genuine care and love! #GalesburgPride
