Bamboo Garden Chinese - Galax

We have ordered from Bamboo Garden several times and have been pleasantly surprised each time. The food is fresh and delicious, and the portions are generous. Today, I had the shrimp with garlic sauce, and it did not disappoint. It had just the right amount of spice, which I really enjoyed. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Having lived in New York and tried Chinese food at many restaurants, including some in Chinatown, I can confidently say that Bamboo Garden is just as good.

Egg roll was excellent. Sesame had chicken, which was good. The pork meat was okay, on average best. Also had crabs, the filling was really good, but was only a small part of it, the rest was too crispy and unusable. All in all, this place is about avg, would come back at any time.

Great Chow, best homemade noodles (I drove hours out of the way for them I think they are homemade! reasonable prices; from 6/6/22, inside dining room is open.

Eating was good, but it's only done now... we were not long, and the site still listed Dine in as an option destroyed!

I love bamboo garden, probably the only Chinese place I love to go in Galax. There food is always fresh. The rice is always fresh too and I can tell if rice isn't good. I love their cream cheese wontons. My most favorite side dish. I haven't been there in a long time ever since Covid. But if I could choose any Chinese restaurant to go to, I would pick Bamboo Garden.
