When the other lady came she was patient and answered all my questions and helped me order some typical Colombian breakfast/food. Because I barely come to that side of Gaithersburg, I got more than enough. Photos below. I also got the strawberry and mango yogurt and they were both so so good! And the other best part os the freshly squeezed orange juice. They have the machine and I saw with my own eyes them squeezing the juice from the oranges. Tasted so so good! What I ordered is called Colombian breakfast on the menu.Oh and they have a mini grocery store inside the restaurant too! How neat! I will return!
Love the empanadas,.but sometimes different empanadas they sold here are salty..They have unfriendly cashier ?
Well, after all the comments I'm totally agree. MOST WE AGREE that the bakery is poor quality over heated hard to eat. Menu is few things looks is not same as the georgia ave. Is sad how the management loose clients and make bad reputation. Last time from the menu they don't have 3 things so we decide to leave. Counter empty and the food containers looks like a trash nothing tasty.
Saw my Colombian friends on Saturday night and shared a picada and bandeja paisa.m from this restaurant. They even got the obleas con arequipe! The food was bland and dry but I thought it was due to the one hour travel time. Came in here on Monday to order the picada and try for myself and was rang up for $1.69 for a small picada. I asked why it was so cheap and was told that they were out of picada. Why even pretend to ring up my order to make a fake charge? If you don’t understand my Spanglish, please let me know?!?! We are going back to Bogota next week and looking forward to the real thing. There are better Colombian restaurants in the DMV!
Breakfast was fine, but mango juice diluted and cafe con leche barely tasted like coffee water
