Volcanic Sushi Sake - Gainesville

If you know me, you know I love volcano sushi and Sake. But my friend and I always went to the other place. But we decided to make a mistake. The location is located in the most beautiful plaza and has a great ambience with seating in the indoor and outdoor areas. We both chose the lunch combos, a GREAT boom for your Buck. I got the combo #5, which was 13 or so dollars for 3 reels, each 6 (picture). A normal role will cost by the same amount depending on the choice, so lunch combos, while limited roll options are the way to go. We have our green tea cheese cake. Very recommended!

Great outside meal. Rolls were amazing and they customize them if you want (I switched out salmon for tuna). Pleasant staff. Felt terrible for manger when person in table in front was terribly rude. But a few tables told her she was so respectful even when he didn’t deserve it. Great location, easy parking, quickly becoming a favorite!!

I ate here with my family yesterday evening and it was delicious. It was a UF game day and our server Zach let us know in advance sushi might be a bit slower than usual. We were there to relax and enjoy the outdoor seating with our dog, so a few extra minutes on one of our orders was no problem. We were impressed by how hard everyone was working to keep things running smoothly! Another server Yanna stopped by to say hi! Overall a very friendly and relaxing place to eat amazingly tasty Japanese food.

The girlfriend took me to this place. I would have never found it on my own. It's tucked away off the beaten trail. Nice small and quaint. The sushi was fantastic. Our server was extremely nice and attentive. It wasn't a big deal but the only piece of advice I would have is to keep the employees quiet about their complaints. We could overhear other servers (not ours) complaining about customers wanting to sit outside or some other bit.
