La Tienda - Gainesville

I wish I lived closer so I could try all of their menu items. I had the carnitas tacos and the pork was very well marinated, not too fatty, and the portion was generous. The restaurant has a very authentic feel. It is a Mexican establishment with many tables inside and around the outdoor veranda. The food was amazing and it's a great place to relax and have a beer every day!

This restaurant serves the best Mexican cuisine near campus. The service is almost perfect, and their chips and queso are to die for. The burritos are also huge, enough to have leftovers for the next day. This is definitely a place worth trying!

We decided to try this restaurant based on reviews, and we were pleasantly surprised! The carnitas were amazing and the birria tacos were outstanding. The carne asada was also very satisfying. We wish we were still in town to try everything on the menu!

Since we recently moved to gainesville, I asked for a good Mexican restaurant and la tienda come again and again so we tried, I would suggest.

My favorite restaurant in Gainesville! Very delicious food. There is usually a significant wait, so I would recommend getting chips to tide you over in the meantime. Alternatively, you can call in your order to have it ready sooner.
