Gators Den Sports Grill - Gainesville

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! AWESOME FOOD AND SERVICE! Rob, the bartender, is awesome!!

Went here before a Tennessee/Florida game, in my TN. garb and expected to have to fight my way out. Lol Wasn't like that at all. The staff was amazing. Even the people in their Florida garb were great. The atmosphere was so laid back it was great! Had a great time even tho we lost. Lol BEST STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI ON THE PLANET!!!

Stayed at the Best Western next door and was given a free drink ticket for this place. Took advantage of the nightcap drink and ordered a dessert. Nice place to watch sports

Gators Den is tucked away in a section of the Gainesville Best Western Gateway Grand. It's a sports-themed bar and restaurant with TVs and football related decor. We usually go at off-peak times, so it is not too noisy. The manager greeted us warmly, especially when he found out that the Gift Certificates and More Burger Week promotion had brought us in for this visit. The server was very friendly and efficient, also. We have had several dishes on previous visits, but this time, we were here for the burgers. They were excellent! And the availability of a choice of sides was a welcome surprise.

Food here is really good. Had the wings the deep fried Oreo with ice cream. Plenty of tv’s for sports. Service was very friendly. Will be back when in Gainesville area.
