Chicken Salad Chick - Gadsden

I absolutely love this place! I can't emphasize that enough. I visit Chicken Salad Chick whenever I can. Their chicken salad is fantastic, and my favorites are the Dixie Chick and the Fancy Nancy. If you're a fan of chicken salad, this is the place to go. The staff is usually very friendly, and I've never had to wait long, even when the line is busy. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't already!

Absolutely fantastic! The salad was amazing. The staff was very welcoming. The young lady at the back greeted me before I had a chance to sit down.

At this restaurant, service and cleanliness are always a priority. Typically, we order the trio of salads. We've sampled most of the options while customizing them by removing certain ingredients, as I'm not a big fan of all the extras. We usually get a well drink and a half-and-half iced tea, which always tastes fresh. Sometimes they have special dishes on offer. A bonus is the small but delicious biscuits they serve with lunch. The prices are reasonable for what we order and receive.

3 stars simply because of service. Cashier didn't have the best people skills but the food overall was pleasant. I never knew what all you could do with chicken salad until I stopped in.

The food is GREAT! The service leaves a lot to be desired!! I come to this location when I visit my daughter who lives nearby, and I usually have to be at her house at a certain time to babysit. Tried on 3/18/22 to order online via the app. Easy and I can get my order in and ready for pickup before I leave my house 45 minutes away. Except on 3/18/22 they had turned off online ordering at 3:30 pm. Then I start trying to call my order in and someone answers the phone and immediately puts me on hold. After being on hold for 6 minutes, I hung up and called back….but they had taken the phone off the hook so all the way during my drive I keep trying to call and for 45 minutes solid the line was busy. I am frustrated but think maybe they are short staffed although I am surprised they are SO busy they can’t answer the phone OR take online orders at 3:30 pm. We really wanted CSC so I decide to drive on to the location and just walk in and order to go. I pull in to an empty parking lot and I walk in to not one customer in the restaurant, dining in or picking up a to go order. Five employees were just standing around waiting for something to happen. This is just how many employees I could see from the front counter, could have been more in the back. Point is, they were NOT busy. After I placed my order (with 10 minutes to spare to get to where I needed to be) and while I’m standing around waiting for my order, a girl with a baby comes in and says “I have a Gadsden to go order” and she is immediately presented with the order she was somehow allowed to call in or place online and she’s in and out in 1 minute,, which is the kind of service I needed on this particular day when I had to be somewhere at a certain time. I realize the employees don’t really care how many orders are placed but I bet the owner does. I really like the food here and we don’t have CSC where I live or otherwise I would NOT have gone to the trouble to go in and wait for a go order that I should have been able to place on the app or call in. DO BETTER!
