Il Vivaldi - Funchal

I loved it here! one of my favorite restaurants on the island, eating was really delicious and the staff was so nice and attentive screaming after sancho he was so beautiful! the classic experience for 39 € includes 4 dishes and 4 glasses wein and is thus a great worth! I have the scalops with pea risotto, on which I was not sure at first, but then I really liked. the otopus was delicious and so the soufflé was perfect.

Great food. my risotto was one of the best risottos I had in one. the garnels were perfectly cooked. the food took approx. 45 minutes to arrive (which is quite normal for gourmet restaurants) and the quantities were enormous when they compare them with other restaurants that I had. the personal was friendly and the atmosphere was great. the violin played some of my favorite songs and that made my time even better.

Great food. great service. the hotel is located in central funchal. came here to lunch based on the reviews and it was not disappointed. recommend to sit outside in the courtyard. sauteed shrimps for starter garlicky and buttery. garnel and scallops risotto delicious! fried oktopus with garlic pure otopus was so soft they can say that it is fresh.

Tonight in the il vivaldi dinner. and yes. for beginners we had the fish soup and fish cream and they were very good. for the main course we had fried oktopus and oktopus curry and both were very tasteful. the advised white wine was a good companion to arrange. the service was excellent. thanks for a very nice dinner.

We had the 4 course Classic Experience menu and couldn't recommend it enough! Scallops were so silky and desserts were both delicious and looked incredible (see pics! We had a tuna steak special and lamb shank for our mains both cooked perfectly. On this menu you can choose any starter main and dessert with accompanying champagne, white wine, red wine and Madeira wine (including top ups! Service was excellent from the minute we walked in with friendly waiting staff and they even had a live Violinist playing cover songs which really made the whole experience for us. 10/10
