The service was pleasant and we did not have to wait too long for our rolls. There was a horrible fish odor upon entering the restaurant. It was so off putting that the waitress had to light an incense. This in turn filled the restaurant with scented smoke and fish odor. Mmmm! Yummy! She had to open the door to defuse the smell and smoke.
We came for lunch. They open at noon. Staff was friendly. We ordered a California roll, a black dragon roll, a new York roll, a 911 roll and a surf and turf roll. All the rolls were good and decent sized. The surf and turf has this sour sauce that compliments the meat well. The main differences between the new York roll and the surf and turf roll was that the new York roll had a crisper bite of meat on the roll. The surf and turf meat was more tender and the sauce on the surf and turf was more sour/citrus. The garlic edamame was amazing!
My local spot for sushi, I come here at least once a month. I always order the sour patch kid roll it is just loaded with fish, I enjoy how the lemon and jalapeno on top work together. You get that zing and the the jalapeno brings it back down and mellows it out with a little heat. Also their garlic edamame is fantastic.
Ginza is consistently a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. They offer great prices and delicious food, especially their sushi, which has a wide variety of options. We keep returning for more!
We've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed it. The food is fantastic, and the location is perfect. The oysters my husband ordered looked amazing! While I don’t eat oysters, he absolutely loved them.
