Garcia's South Of The Border Cantina Grill

The food was enjoyable! I ordered the beef barbacoa, which was tasty. The drinks were excellent, and the watermelon shot was fantastic! The service was friendly and humorous, which I appreciated. The atmosphere shifted to a bar and dance vibe as the night went on, though it was mostly empty when we arrived. People began to come in after 11:30. Overall, it was a decent experience. The music was great!

If I could rate this restaurant with zero or negative stars, I absolutely would. This was my second visit, a chance to see if my first experience was just a fluke. However, that first visit was off-putting, and I couldn't shake the feeling that if my skin color were different, I might have been treated differently. I tried to overlook this sensation, but after my second visit and my family's agreement, I can no longer ignore these concerns.

The DJ music is great, and the bartenders are friendly, but the food is just okay. However, the atmosphere isn't quite my vibe; it seems geared towards a younger crowd.

This is one of my favorite new places. After meeting to get to this place for so long due to COVID, I finally was able to drop it at lunch on a Friday afternoon. My friends and I had a wonderful lunch. The wait staff was very courteous and very attentive to my friends dietary restrictions. I got the fish battered tacos for $17. These tacos were huge. I only had one and brought the other two home for my family. Great service. Great value. Great taste. This place is very nice to hang out.

Only had drinks but they were on point!! Oaxaca old fashion is the best!!!
