Yì Chǔ Hǎi Yuè - Fukui

Everything is delicious and stylish. They offer a variety of local sake and wines, and I received some great recommendations. Drinking from the sake cup made by Suzu from Toyama makes the experience even more special. With only eight seats available, I recommend making a reservation.

One of the best sushi restaurants I have ever tried in Japan. Although the restaurant generally requires reservations for later in the evening, the chef kindly allowed us to come in and quickly prepared a delicious meal for us. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and paired perfectly with the sake. It's a small restaurant, which adds to its charm, and I highly recommend it!

This cozy sushi shop has only eight seats, so I highly recommend making a reservation to savor the omakase course at a leisurely pace. The service, food quality, and selection are all exceptional. The sushi is prepared traditionally but with a creative twist, adding a unique dimension to the experience. It's a must-try if you're in Fukui!
