On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the presentation of everything, including the beer foam, was impressive. Although we communicated in Japanese, they made an effort to explain everything in English. They even left a little thank-you note with chocolate on the receipts, which was a nice touch. It was in regular Japanese, but they did try to accommodate us in English (thanks to Google Translate, but still appreciated). For the table service, they provided a special sauce to drizzle over our dishes, with an English explanation included. Normally, I wouldn’t care too much about those details, but this was the best miserable experience I’ve ever had, even adding it to my fries. They also gave us a small pattern to take home, which was lovely. We tried their signature chicken and a hot pot dish, both of which were some of the best I've ever tasted. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the hot pot included a mix of gyoza and minced meat, as well as additional soup and ramen noodles. Given how many izakayas there are out there, I was genuinely impressed by this one.

When I ordered the grilled chicken with the bone, they conveniently cut it up right in front of me. Every dish was delicious, and they served it with a cute message.
