This restaurant is a fantastic place to enjoy a warm bowl of noodles after a long day at Fuji-san. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, and the service is excellent. While it has a somewhat rustic charm compared to urban spots, the quality of the food is outstanding. It’s definitely worth visiting more than once, especially to experience the seasonal dishes throughout the year. すべてのフィードバックを表示.
First time trying the famous thick udon, it was absolutely amazing! I found the price to be fair, however more vegetable would have been nice. We also ordered raw horse meat (basashi) but was not as good. The meal was served within five minutes after seated. There are 300 seats available, but was almost full during lunch time.
Definitely interesting architecture and interesting design overall, but that’s it. Food is so so and service is horrible. Waitress we got was very rude and rushy. We did not enjoy the time there at all. There is also very long line to get in to. I understand that they are under stuffed but that’s not a good excuse for terrible rude service. Not worth your time.
The architectural design is beautiful. A huge wide spaces inside. However due to its architecture, when its crowded it is quite noisy. When there to have Houtou due to its unique design however there is just one type of Houtou available there. Won't recommend to the people who wants to enjoy typical Japanese Houtou. Personally The taste of the Houtou is not tasty compared to other restaurant. Must focus on its Houtou taste and also must increase the types of Houtou in the menu. It was an average Houtou restaurant for me.
Maybe 5 starts for the architect who designed the building but the chef mmm 3.5
