I have the spicy burger and it was not spicy at all. the hot sauces on the table are spicier than the burger. the fries are clearly only frozen store-bought frits that they freeze, and they are the great soggy fiesen fries. they are also super stingy about how many pommes they give them, as from any reason kartoffeln cost a lot. the salt shakers are those who give them on aircraft and they need to remove the lid to use it because there is no salt different in the round. afteros was good.
My husband really enjoyed his Philly cheesesteak, which is saying something since we are originally from Philadelphia (about 60 miles east in Lancaster). I felt that the staff took personal responsibility for their food, which I appreciated. Foster was very accommodating when I asked for my burger to be cooked a little longer, as I prefer it well-done.
The food at this restaurant was excellent and served fresh and hot! Our waitress was fantastic, offering friendly service and helpful recommendations for ordering. The only downside that prevented me from giving a full five-star rating was the blonde woman who appeared to be the hostess or manager. She was abrasive, loud, and unfriendly. It seemed as though she was overbearing and not attentive to the needs of the diners, as she tried to clear plates before we were finished. Her negative attitude and poor service truly overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.
We spent the afternoon hiking in vail and needed to eat on the way back to fairplay. we've got three hungry teenage boys and we've been refueling ourselves. our server that was the bartender and we didn't get their names was great! the place was packed because it was during the stanley Cup game, but drinks and eating were served quickly. children had pizza, my man had the bison lead sludge and I had the chicken sandwich. food for the price.
For lunch, we started with deviled eggs followed by soup and salad. The standout dish was the power salad, which was packed with sprouted quinoa, pumpkin seeds, fresh fruit, and dressed with a vinaigrette. The deviled eggs were tasty but I was surprised by the addition of wasabi instead of chile. Overall, everything was delicious and expertly prepared.
