Norma's Cafe - Frisco

Just saw Norma’s reviewed my 5 star rating from 9 years ago. My rating still stands. I worked at the Frisco location for 6 years and the best first job I could have ever imaged. The staff was family. The food was absolutely amazing- still is- and I visit every time I come home, because Normas is home!!!

Great restaurant with great service and food. They were down a cook so our food was a tad slower, but not an issue as our server was very forthcoming and attentive. Will come back again.

Good diner vibe and well prepared food. I’ve been here a few times over the past few years in visits to North Texas from Tulsa and have yet to have a bad experience. On the last visit, it was pretty dead as they had an issue with their credit card system but fortunately I had cash. That meant my omelette came out about 2 minutes after I ordered it and it was prepared to perfection. Service was fast and friendly, no complaints at all.

Must say, I'm a fan of Norma's Cafe for their breakfast. However, today I went there for lunch and got the meatloaf meal. I'm not sure if there's any meat in their meatloaf. Tasted like tofu or something weird like that. Could only stomach a few bites before leaving the rest. The sides were ok, but small. Should have gone with the pot roast meal instead!!

Café, food is just OK, go there for their pies and cakes. That’s really good.
