When we first stepped into La Hacienda Ranch, we knew it would be a different experience and we left saying, ?We have to come back.? The rustic lodge decor was really cool and the boys loved all seeing all the animals. Our server set the tone for our experience. When we ordered our Queso Mariano, she suggested bringing out all the add-ins separately, so that it would be more appealing to Little and Littlest Flip Out. It was a perfect recommendation and her exceptional customer service continued for our entire meal. Little Flip Out wanted a quesadilla with ground beef and he loved it. He actually asked later if we could get him another quesadilla from here; this does not normally happen. Mrs. Flip Out tried their Fish Tacos and our server recommended the sides of grilled veggies and Epazote white rice, which were excellent. Littlest Flip Out really enjoyed everything we shared with him, especially the grilled veggies. I had the Fernandez which was cheese enchiladas with ?Dad?s Texas state fair chili? on top with Spanish rice and refried beans. It included a soft and crispy taco. The cheese enchiladas with chili had my tastebuds asking for more, and rest of my meal was just as mouthwatering. La Hacienda Ranch has made our list for places we MUST go to again. Truly an exceptional experience!
Stopped by for lunch. Not happy with the meal. Most entrees are very American, not mexican. Sour Cream, Guacamole and other sauces to cover up zero flavor meats. Ordered the classic taco taco entree taste it like I was eating barely cooked chicken in a tortilla absolutely 0 flavor the ground beef and tortilla 0 flavor not one bit of seasoning or spice. Refi beans were good tried to pork tamales they were slightly above average. My biggest pet peeve is all these Mexican restaurants claim to be traditional but yet stuff all their burritos with rice lettuce guacamole sour cream and all of us are at garbage which is far from traditional burritos. Traditional Mexican burritos is meat beans cheese cheese some peppers onions and tomatoes that's it no sour cream no guacamole no spoin no guacamole no special sauce no red sauce green sauce green sauce blue sauce purple sauce all of this Mexican American food that comes from San Francisco is disgusting I wish the places would stop it I don't need 6 pounds of rice and 2 oz of meat in my burrito.
The only reason I?m giving 2 stars is because the service was good. The food was extremely subpar. There are too many other options to go back here. I ordered brisket tacos which came with 3 on corn tortillas. They barely had any meat on them. The nachos were soggy and bland. Wont be back.
Shoutout to the homeland for margaritas!! So delicious and refreshing in the summertime heat. Also there?s lots of flavor in the fajitas! Love
