Burning Rice - Frisco

This was our first visit to Burning Rice, and as someone of Korean descent, I was eager to see what they had to offer. The bibimbap bowl was fantastic; I opted for kimchi rice, along with mixed vegetables, fish cake, and skipped the egg. My husband and I also shared some kimchi mandoo, which was incredibly tasty. I don’t know why it took me so long to try this place, but I'm really glad we finally did. Next time, we’ll definitely go for the smaller bowl! It's definitely worth a visit, and they do Korean cuisine proud.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I favor the hot stone bowls over the regular ones because they create a nice crispy texture at the bottom of the rice and keep everything hot. While I typically order the same thing each time—kimchi rice with spicy bulgogi beef, all toppings except fish cake, and an over-easy egg—my kids enjoy experimenting with different dishes, and I often sneak a taste from their plates. I've tried some delicious items like chicken wings, dumplings, and spicy shrimp from their selections.

I had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. I chose tofu as my protein option, but I found it to be the only meat substitute available. The food itself was tasty, and the service was attentive. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the limited protein options. Overall, it's a great place to dine.

I was hesitant because the doordash order I received a year old killed it for me. I didn't want to be rude with my date after expressing his love for this place so we ate inside and it was so good. Definitely will eat here more often. ????

Overall this place is good. The prices and portions are not bad. $10.00 for bulgogi bowl, $2.00 or $4.00 for additional meat, depending on the portion. The dumplings were pretty good. Wings were ok, very spicy. Also, it was not crowded and pretty clean, but the person taking the orders wasn't very friendly. If you are craving Korean food without the hassle of cooking, or paying almost $30, this is the place to go.
