As I had a look at the menu from the outside I was tempted...in by the aroma of Indian food being prepred decided to try here. You first walk into a small bar area then shown to a table by casualy dressed staff which actually creates quite a relaxed atmosphere. Menu looked very good I had pappadoms, Onion Bhaji which was delicious the Shrimps Masala with rice for mains. Main meal was a little lacking in taste but well spiced I enjoyed it portion sizes are very generous.Together with a soft drink coffee, bill was around 26 Euro. A nice restaurant would eat here again probably try a different dish if I was in locality
It is a very good restaurant with delicious food and with the name it is indeed a pearl of India.... best place for Indian cuisine and the owner of this restaurant is such a humble guy.
Very nice find. Resto was busy and cosy. The take away very tasty and plentiful. Definitely will be going back, for another take away or sur place. One minus point only for the packaging material, a lot of alu foil and styro foam. All in...all recommendable
The food is delicious and better than most Indian restaurants in Germany. The food is mild to suit the German taste, but is still very tasty they do not fall into the trap of making it so mild and tasteless, that it is inedible...for curry lovers. If you are used to Indian restaurants in England, you may want to ask them to spice it up a bit, which they do on request. The Chicken Madras is a delicious mild curry with lots of coconut not at all like the more fiery Madras known in England and the Bhindi (Lady's fingers) are the best I have ever had. Portions are good, and prices reasonable. Decor is modern and tasteful. Take aways are available. Highly recommended.
I used to eat there more often because I like Indians and otherwise I had no chance. but I'm humma hummarum disappointed. it tastes all kind of the same, the apron is not great. there are far better Indian restaurants in the environment. So I'm not going there anymore. service: din in the meal type: lunch
