Whitey's Diner - Fremont

During our visit, I felt as if I were surrounded by my grandparents and their friends—which is actually quite comforting! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. One of the workers greeted us with a cheerful "Hello" as we entered, and the woman who took our payment was as sweet as a grandmother. It felt like all the staff knew the regulars who walked in, greeting each of them warmly. This cozy little place has a lot of charm, delicious food, and wonderful staff. While the food might not be health-conscious, the portions are generous. It’s easy to see why locals frequently talk about and favor this spot!

Wow!!!! Every summer, we visit Ohio to see my sister-in-law, and before we go, we always make a stop at this restaurant to enjoy the amazing food. We love everything about it!!!

During my work trip, I enjoy dining at local mom-and-pop establishments. If you find yourself in or around Fremont, OH, I highly recommend checking out Whitey's. I recently had a fantastic breakfast there in a quaint setting surrounded by friendly locals. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are large enough to satisfy a small army!

Big fat spoon. Very friendly. The sauce was wonderful. Whitey was a nice find for those people from the city. Much better experience than a chain restaurant.

Whitey's. A landmark restaurant around here! NOT HEALTHY FOOD! a real greasy spoon. Eat here occasionally... Trash potatoes are the BOMB! Eggs, potatoes, peppers, onions, ham, cheese, bacon? all on one plate. Yummy!
