This was primarily due to their positive attitude, friendliness, and prompt service when I reached out regarding our order. Here’s what happened: I ordered a 6-pack, a pound of some sides, three churros for the kids, and three shrimp tacos. Unfortunately, I was only given one shrimp taco instead of the three I had paid for. The fries were also underwhelming—not warm or crispy at all. To top it off, each taco came loaded with salad, despite me requesting no salad, and we received the wrong drinks! Despite this initial setback, I contacted the restaurant, and they were very helpful and polite. They agreed to correct the order and even offered some extras. However, we couldn’t pick up the replacement order on the same day because we were busy. We planned to go back and collect it on May 18 and would update everyone on how it went. **UPDATE: May 19, 2022** We returned to pick up the replacement order after a quick phone call to confirm with the assistant manager. They happily replaced the entire order, including the drinks. I mentioned the churros and drinks were fine and didn’t need replacing, but I appreciated the offer! When we finally received the replacement order, it was fantastic—hot, fresh, and made perfectly to our specifications. The tacos were filled just right without any overflow. To the manager of Taco John's: Thank you for addressing the initial issue. As someone who works in food service management, I understand that mistakes can happen, but you handled the situation well, and the second round was delicious. Thanks again!
I ordered a six-pack and a pound of tacos, requesting that two of them be just meat. While my order was accurate, I ended up with extra tacos instead. I received more food but ended up paying more for it. How does that make sense?
