Says what it does and does it best. Great service and good food. Loved the presentation. Especially loved the texture of beef, tofu and glass noodles. Get back for more!
We would have had four stars if it was based on the second visit where we ordered Taiwanese Spicy Hot Soup and Sliced Beef. Both objects underwhelmed us as we had a high expectation from our first visit. The soup was too spicy and the slice of beef was lack of taste. We enjoyed our first visit very well at House Special Hot Soup and Holy Cow (highly recommended). The soup had a very clean refreshing taste, and the holy cow had this delicate and jelly like texture, and cool oil flavor. We've done everything.
I have the milk cream curry hot soup and it was delicious! It had a very tasteful curry broth and a fine sea salt foam on the top. The cut pork was lumped together, but was very delicate overall and absorbed the broth well. The cut potatoes and the fishballs were my favorite part! FYI: It already came with Vermicelli noodles, so I recommend getting the rice as your free side. My cousin got the Korean bean paste soup medium and it was really spicy for her, so be careful if you order your spice level! This is located in Osaka Marketplace plaza and it was very empty on a Friday night at 19:00. A fairly small location compared to others I had, but overall very clean interior. The employees are a little clumsy, but they get the job done. I appreciate that they offer to give us extra soup broth in the middle of it! Very attentive.
I like the hotpot from boiling point. I started to follow the food when it was only in LA. Their sauces, garlic hot sauces are very taste with the hot pot. However, I was disappointed this one in Fremont. First, we ordered the flaming level of spiciness. It's disappointed. It's not that spicy at all. Second, ww ordered the free drinks that offers during lunch. But they were delivered in wrong order. I asked the waiter three times, he was firmly sure that he brought us the right one. We decided to let it go. Third, our hotpots was another disaster. Well, it wasn't a big deal that he put the wrong orders to wrong person. But, it just made us feel not that pleasant. The last, I had to ask them where was my appetizer. After all, these impacted my mood.
