Parking can be a challenge when downtown activities are in full swing, especially if other shops are busy. The restaurant has limited parking right in front, and if that's full, you'll have to find somewhere a little further away to park. The staff here are always friendly and accommodating. We've never had to wait long for our orders to be taken, and they give you ample time to decide from the menu. The food quality has consistently been excellent; I've never had any complaints about the taste. However, some items are a bit on the pricey side. For example, the jalapeño popper appetizer comes with just three for around $15, which means if you're dining with someone, you'll have to play rock-paper-scissors for the last one! That said, they are absolutely delicious! Most other menu items are reasonably priced and compete well with similar establishments. The bar is fully stocked, and the bartenders are usually knowledgeable, whipping up great drinks quickly. However, on one occasion, it seemed that one bartender didn’t show up for their shift, and they hastily promoted the dishwasher to bartender. Unfortunately, he had no idea what he was doing and mixed the worst Long Island iced tea I’ve ever tasted—it was like a child's concoction gone wrong! He tried to fix it, but it just got worse, and considering the price, it was disappointing to pay for a drink I couldn’t even swallow, which ended up untouched. Overall, my experiences here have been positive, and I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area or looking for something different from your usual options. Just make sure the bartender isn’t a young, brown-haired male, and you should be fine! **Parking:** There are only about six spots directly in front of the restaurant, so you'll likely need to park a bit further away unless it's an unusually slow day. **Kid-friendliness:** The menu includes items that most kids will enjoy, such as mac and cheese, and the seating allows children to comfortably scoot up to the table.
We visited the restaurant tonight at 8:33 PM. Unfortunately, the very rude waitress informed us that the kitchen was closed. We were disappointed since we were trying to recreate the magic of our first date there. We asked if we could sit at the bar, to which she begrudgingly replied, "I guess," while rolling her eyes at us. After taking our drink order, she proceeded to clean the bar and then completely ignored us for 15 minutes. When I finally asked to pay for our drinks, we decided to leave. We were so let down, especially since we had loved this place during our first date. Both waitresses were extremely rude!
Awesome little gem! We had the meatloaf it was delicious! Loved that they have Kentucky Bourbon Ale oil tap.
This was recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. The food was great and service was good, nice place for dinner and drinks.
