The ostrich was incredible. All the food was incredible infact. They have local game depending on the day's hunt. Our waitress was lovely.

We had an excellent meal here, service was very considerate and friendly and the meat was sublime. We had the lamb chops and the bone-in sirloin and both were melt in your mouth good. We were seated close to the kitchen which had a whirring industrial noise in the background which ruined the atmosphere a bit for us, but did enjoy the fireplace warming us from behind. I think other seats in the resto would be cozier. The malva pudding ice cream and custard weren’t that great (the ice cream tasted a bit processed and the custard wasn’t sweet enough) but the complimentary vodka chocolate cocktail at the end brought up the sweet level nicely. We would definitely come here again for the meat and warm service.

Thembi, our waitress for the evening, provided some of the best service we’ve ever had. A bright smile and genuine interest in her job as well as us, the guests, makes for such a memorable experience. The steaks we had were also done just to our liking and we will certainly be back on our next trip to Franschhoek.

It was my birthday we booked for a dinner. Food and service we got was amazing. A lot of thanks to our waitress Belinda for a good service. The place is very nice and we would love to visit again
