I was just walking pass by and went to this place on Sunday as the place I wanted to go was packed but this place was not fully busy. However, I am very pleased that I came across to this place as it was pretty nice place to have a meal. Spacious restaurant with lots of table, nice decoration/interior as well as friendly staff. Food was also well presented with full of flavours, was happy with my luck and decision
Had a really faultless breakfast here! For a new cafe I have to say I was very impressed. I had the hash which was delicious and a great coffee! Will definitely be back.
We happened to be walking past and almost didn't notice this restaurant until the lovely lady at the front door indicated there were free meals for kids from 5-6:30pm for each paying adult. After looking at the delicious menu we decided we had to come back, since we are also a fan of Spanish cooking. Queenstown is known for its rustic, wooden and low ceilinged character venues but this place stands out with clean minimalistic lines and subway tiling. My fish dish was such a work of art that it was almost a shame to eat it, and the patatas bravas were the best ever..
' good food does not have to be complicated ' is what I have always believed in coming from a country where diversity of food in in abundance. My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for something different that Queenstown has to offer and was fairly surprised on a section on their menu called ' the taste of toro ' in which we will be served random dishes form the menu decided by the chef. I was sold on the idea of not having to decide what we are having for dinner and jumped in head first. We were also pleasantly surprised to find out that they do cater for small families with their simple yet straight forward children 's menu so that the adults can dine in peace. Having placed our faith in the chef and with the little one out of the way with his kids menu and colouring book. As we wait for our food, one will have to soak in the atmosphere and easily forgive them for not having good wifi connection. Do not bother facebooking and let the food come in enjoy everything they have to offer. As food came, we were not disappointed . Good presentation, well timed, simple, tasteful, delicious and generous portions enough to feed 3 adults we paid for 2 as we have a teenage daughter and was unsure of the portions . Their passion for food and cooking is clearly shown and impressed me was when sampling the varieties of dishes as we progressed through the night. Thus, won me over to have earned the highest point I could give to any food establishment. I do not bother with average or poor restaurants as they will not live to see the light of day but I will go out on a limb for establishments that has earned my time to comment or write about. All I can say is come with your friends and family, do as what we did. and let the chef and crew express themselves and enjoy the food. it will be a memorable experience. sincerely Kay
