Cantina Divino - Frankfurt am Main

Agree with other reviews. This place is a small sleeper in an area of more we'll know and larger restaurants. The whole place seats less than 40. Menu is small but refined and has something for everyone. Owner is very nice. Speaks Italian German and English. I enjoyed it and would definitely go back!

Absolutely superb meal! Our party of 6 enjoyed great food, great wine, great service. The best meal we have had in Frankfurt. Highly recommended!

Good food, good wine, friendly waiter. What more do you want? The atmosphere was smart casual: a relaxed feel, but most of the customers on a Tuesday evening seemed like business people going out to dinner with friends after work so they were smartly dressed. I would definitely go here again.

We enjoyed his delicious truffle linguini with king prawns. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was neither too dry nor too wet. Their desserts ranged and were just average. Service was very warm and friendly.

Oh My God! My friend and I have NEVER experienced such DISRESPECTFUL service and attitude in our life! We came here for dinner, the place was literally empty we were the only guests. We were handed in the menu, which was quite short and...hand-written. Half of the options were not available as they were apparently lunch offers. After a long discussion with the waiter, he (very reluctantly and bristly) said they could maybe consider making a lunch dish for us. Then we asked if they had tea (cuz driving) and received an irritated NO. So I suggested to go look for another place to eat, as it wasn't working out. The waiter turned RED with RAGE and started shouting at us that we need to pay 1,5€ each for his time and for having unfolded the napkins(!!! to which I answered that it is complete nonsense and there is no way we are doing it. As we were leaving, he kept shouting that we are banned from entering the place in the future "Ihr habt hier Hausverbot! SERIOUSLY? Not even having the slightest desire to! XD
