It offers dozens of salsas, spreads and many concoctions f rom little jars. The bread and cheeses used to be good. Not so any more. The wine is execreble.
Sol de Medianoche (Sun at Midnight) is a quaint little place that they did not work at to make rustic, it just is. There is inside and outside seating. My gorditas today were o.k., they could look for a new salsa maker. My wife’s machaca...was fair to middlin’. But, on the other hand, in the rather costly Ruta de Vino, we ate cheap. The tour buses take a million folks there on Saturdays when they have a nice buffet. I would not recommend any day but Saturday. Sunday you get the same buffet with less tourists. There you go, I like that!
My family has been going to El Valle for years and El Sol de Media Noche is always one of our stops. We love to taste cheese, dressing, salsas and wine. It is a great place to go with the family or group of friends. It is... also a good place to buy souvenirs. I miss their old, smaller place, but they have become a tourist destination, so they needed a bigger place.
Lugar excelente, buenos vinos y buen ambiente, tiene una buena degustacion de mermeladas y panes y salsas
