Ondas Cafe - Foz Do Arelho

Ondas serves the most delicious garlic prawns ever!!!! They are served with a basket of hot bread, a match made in heaven!! They also serve great salads and sandwiches and a good selection of hot food. We loved sitting outside to enjoy the view of the beautiful beach.

One of a row of snack bars overlooking the lagoon. Very friendly staff and food at reasonable prices. Try the prawns with garlic sauce. Also their salads are another favourite. Watch sunset from their terrace, stunning.

Great, plain food, and very attentive and pleasant staff. They were good English speakers and did all they could to keep guests happy. Food is snacks only, like grilled sandwiches, omelettes, burgers. But freshly made and all dishes we had were good.

I came a few times to this bar with friends back when I was living in Portugal and 70% of the time the waiters were somewhat brute or rude. For that reason we gave up on this one, since we have much better literally next to it.
