He tried this place on a proposal from a friend and was immediately hacked. This is one of these sweet little local places you should just go on!
Cute little coffee shop with welcoming owner and barista. Super friendly and informative! You can tell she truly enjoys what she does! Coffee was great! You must try the white expresso, different taste but still good, plus has more caffeine! When I'm in the area I know where I will spend my money!
Great little coffee shop not far from the interstate. Lots of great options I had an excellent sugar free English toffee soy latte! Totally worth skipping Starbucks on a road trip and holding out for this great local gem.
Friendly, relaxing, and welcoming with a focus on local products and businesses
New local owners trying to improve on an existing business. I spoke with the new owner of Cowboy Espresso Cafe today about the signs posted about a Grand Opening event happening on March 19. She told me that she bought the place from the original owner after she had made an offer. She had also been a long-time customer of Cowboy Espresso anyway, so it seemed like she knew the ins-and-outs. The place actually has a nice rustic apperance that, most importantly, is very clean on the inside. It is still getting started and organized, so it was forgivable that I didn 't see a clear and concise menu. The drink menu was front and center, albeit small, but it had a variety of well thought out choices. I got the Christy 's Hawaiian which was a coffee drink with white chocolate, caramel, banana and macademia nut syrups. They come in a 16 and 20oz, but I got the smaller of the two. It was very flavorful, and just hot enough to burn my tounge on the first sip, but not afterwards. I also got a chocolate chip scone, which was pretty normal in flavor and nothing spectacular. I asked her if there was anything hot on the menu, and she answered that she had a quiche type dish. She had the choices of bacon and smoked sausage. I got the one with smoked sausage and when it came out, it had a pie-type crust, but there was some evidence of further crust inside of the egg and smoked sausage filling. This was a little strange, but made the piece very firm in texture. It was filling enough, but I 'll leave the jury out on this one as to if they do anything a little more creative with it later (add a vegatable or two, some different spices, etc). But this place is ready for an increased menu which will include a waffle bar with homemade compote (strawberry and blueberry) as well as some other items that weren 't specified. So stay tuned for more items!
