Satoshi Sushi - Fountain Valley

This restaurant offers fantastic food, especially the crazy salmon and delicious tummy rolls, which I highly recommend. The atmosphere, enhanced by Japanese music, really adds to the overall experience. I also want to highlight the incredible customer service provided by the gentleman with white hair. He went above and beyond to ensure that my group was well taken care of. Thank you!

We ordered the Chef's choice sashimi platter and a sushi platter. To be honest, the sashimi quality was comparable to what I could find at Hmart—not what I was hoping for. The sushi platter, which was supposed to include 10 pieces of sushi, only contained 4 pieces of rolls. As someone who prefers sashimi, I would have settled for sushi, but rolls of any kind are a no-go for me. The only dish we really enjoyed was the yellowtail collar; it was excellent! Typically, my boyfriend and I would spend about $200 for dinner at a decent sushi restaurant, but this meal only cost us $75, including tips. I experienced goosebumps while finishing the last few pieces of sashimi, forcing myself to do so because I didn't want to waste food. I should have realized that Huntington Beach isn't the place for good sushi unless you love rolls. Furthermore, since we were sitting at the bar, I sensed that the chefs noticed we weren't enjoying our meal. When we left, nobody even bothered to shout goodbye in Japanese, which was a bit telling!

Uni and oysters were fresh and DELICIOUS! Even in to go order. Amazing! Best real sushi and sashimi! Food: 5

They have the best salmon skin salad—it's absolutely delicious! I've never dined in at the restaurant, only ordered for pickup.
