Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I have visited several Cracker Barrel locations, and this was by far the best. The server was excellent and the staff was also very attentive. The food was also fantastic - I ordered the green chili chicken with green beans, steak frites, and fried apples, and everything was delicious. I highly recommend this particular location.

The host seated us at a table near the window with a disappointing view. I politely asked if we could move to a different table with a better view. The host expressed concern about inconveniencing the waitress, who apparently would not be happy with the change. It was disappointing to see the waiter's comfort prioritized over the customer's experience. On a positive note, the restaurant was very clean. I later spoke to the manager, who assured me he would address the issue promptly.

The meal was satisfactory, but it needed more salt and the green beans lacked flavor. Overall, the experience was decent. I rated it 3 stars because my partner had to retrieve a booster seat and high chair himself since our waiter was a young and inexperienced individual.

As other reviews say, this place is sub-occupied. we went on Thursday afternoon as it was near our hotel. they weren't super busy at all. first we went around the load (normal and clean, nothing special to write) and then it went into the line. before us is a large family that was said that the restaurant had no table to fit them all and the family had to decide what to do. it was kind of weird considering that 7 tables were used at that time. we sat and after a while our waitress came by. I had already looked at the reviews and found that this girl had too much to handle thanks to brilliant personalization on the restaurant. we ordered and the food came out quickly. I needed ketchup. no spices on the table. I will ask the person who brought our food for ketchup. she repeated mine, as if she hadn't heard it right and left it. then our waitress comes by and I ask again (second). we wait one because, and then she comes back one because later and remembers that I needed ketchupthird. I'm vegan. this is obviously a terrible vegan choice, so when I got ketchup, to eat fry and okra, I was almost done. my friend liked to be eating, but the eggs weren't what I would consider to be cunning, and my friend didn't want to eat it.

Long long wait times, host sits same waitress with 4 or 5 tables at a time, so they don't have to continue to deal with guests, food was cold after waiting 45 minutes for it, asked for management they didn't care just offered to recook food. The only good thing about this experience was our servers, Dakota Jamie. They went above beyond their job to make our experience better to make sure we were satisfied even though they were extremely busy the only 2 servers working. I came in around 3 left around 4:30 or so no other employees had come in to help them yet.
