Browns At Nevis Bank Inn - Fort William

Here two nights in a row because it's brilliant! The first night as a foursome then returned as a couple. Great attentive service. The food is well presented and especially delicious. All in a very relaxed atmosphere. In any case, the booking would recommend to avoid disappointment.

Had a fabulous dinner at Browns to celebrate my Munros. Three of us enjoyed an excellent meal with excellent service. Each element of the three courses was perfectly prepared in our view, well presented and very tasty. Drinks and coffee were in the same vein and we had nothing that did not meet the exemplary standard. The atmosphere was right. Thank you to all at Browns for helping us celebrate a landmark event so pleasant.

This is a long overdue review... we were there in autumn when we had some disruptions in our trip, it was late and we needed to stay a place urgently. The staff was gracious and beautiful. We would highly recommend!

We were here the night after we finished West Highland Way. It was a welcome attraction after walking the 15 miles from Kinlochleven to Fort William (we took the longer distance, so we could see Ben Nevis). The staff was very friendly and very helpful and allowed us to dry some of our wet equipment in a special room after walking the last 4 miles in wind and tireless rain. They also got me an ice bag for my ankle after it had delivered during the last 4 miles of the walk. The restaurant and bar staff were personal and fun to speak. We had a large room with a comfortable bed and a BATH hot tub! That was heaven! I was so grateful that this hotel was right on the street from the original destination of West Highland Way. With my tense ankle I couldn't have gone on that day, or even the next. It was such a pleasure to be here and I'm sorry we had no extra night. Next time we pack Ben Nevis!

Had a meal here last weekend. Staff organised and professional. Great ambience. Starter and desert great meal let down by the special main. Lamb and Yorkshire pudding. Dry Yorkshire pudding and precooked lamb slices. Friends mains however were better than mine. Would go back and have a different main meal.
