The Mac and cheese tasted like straight cheddar according to the wife she couldnt eat it, as if she was eating a block of cheddar. And the fried pickles are in fact good, soggy from the drive but thats fine, however they were REALLY sweet and borderline unenjoyable. The pretzels were fantastic and chicken was good despite the lack of seasoning on them. The cheese curds were also still good even though the drive made them meld together. We agree this place is probably better in person.
Hot fresh tasty pork rinds (still cracklings at the table) peach beer and a Greek unwrap...all perfect! (Still dreaming about cherry beer they served many months ago but haven't had back on the menu). Big fan of the Gorgonzola chicken, Scooby snacks and hubby loves the scotch eggs. Always great food and a good time.
I moved to Fort Wayne at the end of March, and I've been a semi-regular since April. The servers have always been GREAT to me and any friends or family I've brought along. Their Jambalaya dishes (potato skins, pasta, pizza that I've had have been freaking AMAZING. The beer is really good (I've had Harry Bawls, Golden Crown, one of the stouts, and one of the IPA's . Just yesterday, a manager was sitting in a booth behind me and my friends, and overheard me saying I hadn't tried the Scooby Snacks...and gave us some on the house! That was amazing (and so were the Scooby snacks, by the way ! The Mad Mad Mad Burger is fantastic (and freaking huge as are the waffle and house fries. Long story short, I love this place and am going to go there many, many more times! :
Great food for a good price. The renovation is nice, looks brighter fresh. Our suggestion is to get your menu selections at the Maplecrest's Shigs in Pit. We're not fans of the smoked meats, but love, love, love Mad Anthony on Taylor Street's menu selections of Ahi Tuna, Unwraps, burgers, etc...
