Whataburger - Fort Walton Beach

This restaurant used to be my go-to spot for a quick lunch when I was pressed for time, but it seems I'll be looking for alternatives. Recently, the service has really taken a turn for the worse. I just left after spending 10 minutes in the drive-thru line, where I was stuck waiting for my order to be taken with only one car ahead of me. Frustrated, I went inside to place my order instead. To my disappointment, I then waited an additional 25 minutes for my food, even though there were only three other customers there, two of whom already had their meals when I arrived. To make matters worse, I noticed two managers, four employees in orange shirts, and what appeared to be two district managers sitting at a table, having a conversation the whole time. This level of customer service is simply unacceptable. The staff outnumbered the customers by two to one. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 3.

Avoid going after 11 PM unless you're prepared to wait an hour stuck in a line with no way to leave.
