Clemenza's At Uptown Station

The best Italian restaurant in town, with consistently excellent staff!

Clemenza’s was once one of our favorite local spots. My husband and I would dine there every week, and it was always our top choice for hosting out-of-town guests. Their espresso martinis were fantastic, and every pasta dish and pizza consistently impressed us. Unfortunately, since the restaurant changed hands after the original owner passed away, it hasn’t been the same. We’ve tried to support the new management on three separate occasions, but each time we left feeling let down. The food now lacks the freshness and flavor we used to enjoy, coming across as dry and tasteless. It’s disappointing that this once-beloved local gem has lost its quality and charm. Sadly, we’ve decided we won’t be returning as regular customers.

It's been a while since I visited Clemenza’s, but we went there tonight and were really impressed with both the food and the service. Our server, Ashley, was excellent. We were a group of four, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We can't wait to return!

I stopped in for lunch and was seated right away, it was early. Everything looks clean and appropriate for an Italian restaurant. I had read that the meatball sandwich here was one of the best in the area. While it was a good sandwich, it didn't meet my definition of the best. The bread was soft with no crunch to it's crust, minimal meatballs, cheese, and sauce. I will give more of the menu a try because overall the restaurant seems like a quality place.

We dined there for the first time for my birthday and the meal was extraordinary! We traveled in from a few hours away and arrived late due to traffic and decided to do a take out order so that we could enjoy our hotel. The meal was superb!
