Aloha Melt Waikiki - Fort Shafter

A must try!! The bacon patty melt was out of this world. There is not much space available to sit so get there early. A great twist on a classic.

10/10 must try this on your stay in Waikiki. One sandwich should be good enough for two meals, or to share. Super tasty, rich, creamy melt sandwich yumminess. We ordered ahead, picked it up and enjoyed at home balcony overlooking some nice views.

Crazy good grilled cheese sandwiches! We ordered ahead and it was ready by the time we walked there from Waikiki beach. The dipping sauce was pretty spicy so be prepared for that. The jalapenos gave it enough of a kick for me, but my husband and son did dip in the sauce. The cheese was so gooey and melty.

I live in Japan and wanted something not easily found there, and came across this place. Not a whole lot of grilled cheese and tomato soup places in Tokyo, so this absolutely sounded perfect. I ended up going with the patty melt, and it was cheesy and delicious. The four cheese melt was also quite good. And the tomato soup just took it up another level, and made me feel at home. The service was fast and friendly. They have several drink options as well and they’re open late.
