I don't know if it wasn't for franc and al's. many thanks for them
I visited to share a pie with my brother for his birthday. The White Spinach pizza was very good and you could tell the spinach was fresh. Most notably is that upon walking in I noticed all the tables were clean. Not gross clean but actually clean where I'm not checking to see if I'm about to sit in grease. At the time we ate the restaurant was a bit quiet which was perfect. The young woman who took our order was pleasant, cheery, and attentive. If you're looking for a local-vibes pizzeria feel you won't be disappointed.
The pizza crust was good but the cheese and sauce did not have enough flavor. The women's bathroom was very dirty. Service was good.
Response to owner, whom responded to our review. Your response makes the reader wonder if you even fully read the previous review. The fact is the Pizza was bad the very next day, and yes it was refrigerated. The problem with the Pizza was something to do with the cheese. As previously stated, we brought the Pizza back and your employees were courteous and understanding, and agreed to replace the Pizza. We drove 30+ minutes back to your location to pick up the Pizza we were told was being remade. Upon arrival we were told that the owner refused to make the Pizza. It’s your response back to our initial review, as to why we and others should avoid your location until you run all your loyal customers off, and new management takes over. We order food from Frank Al’s all the time, especially their pizza; that is until today, as we see how they really care about their loyal customers. We ordered a $30 large meat lovers pizza last week for my son that typically keeps it in the fridge and warms up 1-2 slices a day when returning home from school. This particular time he could not eat any more of the pizza starting day 2, as the the cheese had a bad smell and taste. We took the pizza back to Frank and Al’s today and their staff agreed to replace it with no issues after explaining what happened. We had errands to run and told them we would be back in an hour. Upon making the 30-45 minute drive back, we were told that the owner said not to make the pizza. What a Hugh waste of time and money. Their pizza is over priced as it is, but the kids liked it so we were loyal customers, but no longer, we will never return to Frank and Al’s again that obviously values $30 over a relationship with a loyal customer.
I apologize for the derogatory review I ordered two slices and a soda and I was starving but was not able to finish one slice. I used two paper towels in an attempt to get some of the oil off of it I grew up on 18th Avenue in Brooklyn New York and I don't expect anyone to compete with them... in the past I have had decent Pizza from Frank and Al's but I don't know what happened lately it seems to have gone downhill
