This is the best fried chicken I have ever had. Everything I tried was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. We also tried a delicious spring roll, peach-glazed chicken, and fried pork snacks. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The sides were also fantastic, like homemade mac and cheese and collard greens. Overall, a great experience!

This is hands down the best soul food restaurant I have ever been to. The staff is incredibly attentive and the customer service is exceptional. I felt like I was dining in a 5-star restaurant rather than a small, cozy diner. Despite its size, the restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you're dining in a family home. I will definitely be back for more of their delicious home-cooked meals and southern hospitality.

I went to this restaurant at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday 6/19. The food was amazing, with mouthwatering biscuits, waffles, and more. Everything was delicious and served hot straight from the grill to the table. The service was exceptional, as everyone working there was friendly and attentive. Our server, Alexis, was fantastic and provided us with great recommendations. I will definitely be returning every time I pass through the area.

Excellent quality and service! Alexis will take care of you so well! the best fried green tomats I had for so long. perfectly crispy and slightly fritted with a horn skin coating. the omelet was perfectly cooked had a veggie, sink and cheddar. toast served with butter and smuckers natural jam. we all shared a chicken tocuit kinfolk away. the biscuits and the whn were perfectly cooked!? Don't hesitate to come here! delicious! tonight we take deserted eggs and scraped greens to dinner!

I wanted so badly to like this place! First visit, we were greeted and served by Alexis, who was very nice, however, failed to put in our complete order. And, left out a portion of what was actually ordered. The second time, the food was underwhelming, dry, bland... Just not worth the high prices. Six deviled eggs for $12. Two pieces of chicken and a soggy waffle for $15. Just unreasonable. Dirty tabletops when two staff people sat at those very tables, ignoring the uncleanliness. The banana pudding was amazing, but not worth $8 for the small portion. My son enjoyed the tenders and chicken sandwich, which is why this review is 2 stars. While we won't be returning, we recommend ordering your food in person (not delivery) and being certain to CHECK THE BAGS before you leave the restaurant!
