Zoës Kitchen - Fort Myers

As we searched for a booth to sit in, we encountered one with a dirty table, and another that was equally messy with food remnants on the banquette. One of the guys eventually brought our food, and it was disappointing to say the least. I managed to eat two bites before deciding to throw the rest away, and my wife only took three bites before doing the same. The tzatziki they served us was dreadful—more like a watery mess than anything resembling the actual dish. With a hummus appetizer plus our two bowls, we wasted $32 on inedible food. Overall, this experience was a complete disaster—terrible food, and equally terrible staff and service!

Oh my goodness! You really need to treat yourself and try any of their dishes. The flavors are incredible, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is just delicious. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to eat. My only concern is that it can be a bit expensive, but the quality of the food makes it worth every penny.

Where is the manager on duty!???????????????? So, I come to Fort Myers a few times a year and have been loyally coming to this spot for food for almost two years. My girlfriend and I eat healthy and this was a nice alternative for lunch or dinner. I went in there tonight after getting in from the airport the guy twenty something) working there walks out greets me while wiping his nose because it was running. Then sneezes off to the side without covering his mouth. Does not even go wash his hands. The side I ordered came out by itself 10 minutes after everything else. The inside of the restaurant had many tables not even wiped down. It was dirty looking. No manager in sight. No professionalism or attention to cleanliness. Not sure I will ever go back!! It all comes down to training and this place is gone down the tubes :

If I could give them no star at all that would be perfect!This location has clear lack of leadership and consists of bunch of of people lacking direction.Didn’t include half the order in our takeaway. They were no customers in the restaurant and yet didn’t get the orders right. Had to go back and to my surprise the manager was not at all apologetic. Instead she had an ugly attitude. Never going back to this location.Bad staff, bad food, bad service.

If I was rating today’s experience alone, I would probably give it a 2. But I have been here before, and I know it has potential, so I am going to rate a three.The flavor of the steak and sauces are superb. I’ve also had one of their salads, and it was good. However, our experience today will probably result in us not returning.The food was barely warm at best. The restaurant needed to be cleaned (but the bathroom was good). The service was mediocre: not bad, but very laid-back with no emphasis on customer service.Unless I could guarantee that my next experience would be much better, I would not come back again.
