Downtown House Of Pizza - Fort Myers

The sales lady at the Dillard's counter in Fort Myers mall was raving and bragging about this pizza place. So I decided to give it a try. OMG! I honestly have no regrets stopping in. I live about 35 miles from Downtown House Pizza, and I would drive there any day and anytime for some pizza. By all means, this is the best to Authentic New York style you are going to get out here. Still on the hunt for the best pizza in SW Florida. This might be it, at least considerably better than what I've had. First off, the menu consists of almost every pizza you could think of, and they are BIG. We ordered a half Italian and half plain cheese. I didn't realize the Italian didn't have sauce, so it was like a white pizza with meats. Very nice and crunchy. The plain cheese reminded me alot of NJ pizza. Fresh ingredients, came out piping hot. It's a typical pizza place and it was raining so tables were not easy to grab, but we got one inside. We also ordered a meat lovers Stromboli which was enormous and excellent! Made to order. Alot of leftovers which we took home. I'll be back!

My favorite late-night snack spot! The staff is wonderful and has been around for a long time. I grew up in this city and frequently see familiar faces here. The management must be excellent because everyone is very polite. Plus, the food is fantastic!

Chipped in to have carry-out pizza ?, cash w/ my cousins. The pizza was slammin' we got the Meat Lovers ?, BBQ Pizza ?, and Hawaiian Pizza ?! All of these were enjoyable. The one that is my favorite was the Meat Lovers but granted I only ate slices from that pizza. I was pretty stuffed with just two ??! The only issue was that one of the pizzas wasn't stuff crust, which I'm not sure if via online ordering my cousin could find that option ?. My cousins were right, D-HOP is the way to go, especially for local non-chain pizza ???
