The name is inviting enough. Although, I 've never bern here before I had been invited several times but I always flaked. Randomly, I decided to try it out last Thursday evening. The restaurant/bar is located on Carowinds Blvd in Fort Mill, SC. The parking is sufficient. When you enter there is a huge bottle of sanitizer sitting to the left. The inside was a bit narrow than I expected but it wasn 't crowded. My friend and I seated ourselves and the waitress/Bartender Dasia came over quickly cleaned our table. Dasia was extremely personable as she explained the menu pricing. The menu had great bar food selections. I ordered Grouper nuggets loaded tater tots along w Crown on the rocks. As more people came in Dasia was able to bartend wait the tables seamlessly. Kudos to her because I 've witnessed restaurants that had multiple servers they still had trouble balancing tables. The food came out quickly and everything tasted good. The portions were sized nicely so I most definitely had leftovers. I wouldn 't recommend coming here as a group but 2 people is perfect. There 's a Jukebox and pool table in the back. The only reason that I 'm giving a 4 star review is because i received a 50% off of an appetizer from Yelp for checking in but unfortunately Dasia, wasn 't able to honor it. I don 't have knowledge of what agreements Yelp has with restaurants but "most "places honor the coupons.
Came to this place on a whim and the menu looked good from yelp reviews. When we arrived at 4pm on a Friday we found seats quickly however service was no where to be found. They only had one bartender on deck and no one else to serve the booths. We waited about 10 minutes beget a nice lady came and greeted us. When I showed her the 50% off appetizer coupon from yelp she became startled and stared at the coupon in amazement then stated she would have to speak to the owner. She came back and stated she would do a BoGO on appetizers. At this point we were over then experience and bounced. I would be weary to go back. This place needs some extreme help.
Food is good, service not so much. Just like the other reviewers mentioned if your not a local/ regular your service won 't be as pleasant but I thought the goal was to provide great service to new guest so they can potentially be a regular more business more money). All in all I may give this place another shot but if it 's the same service it will be my last time there.
This place advertises $2 domestics , but when you get the bill, they charge you $2.50. When you bring it to the bartender 's attention they look at you like you 're cheap or wasting their time. This has been going on for a couple years now. Why we keep coming back I will never know but we are done now. Just think of how much more money they are making when they do this with every customer throughout the day. Go a few miles down the street to Small Bar. They actually charge you what their signs say, they have great service, and they don 't blast rap music all day......CROOKS!!!! Update: The owner responded that the $2 domestics were just during Happy Hour Monday-Friday as stated on the menu. However, nowhere does it say that on the signs as posted. Drive down Carowinds Blvd and all the neon sign says is $2 Domestics to get you in the door...Old school bait and switch ....Very deceptive
