Podollan Pub - Fort McMurray

Food was great, drink specials were awesome.. but unfortunately the service was poor. The waitress cared more about flirting with the male customers than making sure my table was ok. If you are staying at the Podollan Inn hotel you can receive $5 off coupons (to be used at the Podollan pub) for declining room cleaning services. When we requested the waitress to apply the discount coupon to our bill, she refused saying that we should have told her at the start of the order (it does not say this on the coupons and at no point did she ask us if we were hotel guests). We thought this was rude and disrespectful. We would return to the bar because of how good the food and drink deals are, but we would just ask for a different server if we got her again. Maybe the manager should give a crash course to their staff on how to serve customers properly?

We were visiting Fort McMurray for the night and decided to head on over to this bar because the person I was with recommended it. When we first walked in it was late afternoon and not too many people around but then as it got later it got busier and everyone was friendly, felt like the bar Cheers. We ordered the Spinach, Bacon and Cheese Dip and it was delicious. The woman behind the bar was on it, she worked hard and she was very good at her job, she was calm, friendly and social with everyone meanwhile pumping out the drinks and one guy kept banging the gong above the bar and buying rounds for everyone so she was quite busy. I plan on returning to Fort McMurray and this will be my first stop after I check into the hotel...great place and needless to say we had the time of our life because of the friendly locals but also because of the great service we received...congratulations to this business...

This is my #1 spot in Fort McMurray for a good steak. Good service. Pub atmosphere. Decently priced.

I love this place and will always return for great food, service and drinks. The POD has never disappointed me.

Hay a great meal. Halibut was unreal best iv had in a long time. Our waitress Kimmy is Killin it with her home made old school style double tom colin short's. Real good. Thanks Kimmy
