Our server mentioned that we made a great choice because they recently updated the recipe, although she didn't specify what had changed. The chicken was fried with a maple chili glaze, and surprisingly, the waffle had more of a spicy kick than the glaze on the chicken. The triple stack pancakes were light and fluffy but slightly undercooked—a real treat! While I'm not sure if this will be a regular haunt due to the high prices, it’s definitely a great place to impress out-of-town friends and family.
The dining experience was enjoyable, reminiscent of a restaurant with a unique view of airplanes. The staff was exceptionally attentive and helpful. However, if some dishes had been served on ceramic plates instead of metal trays, it would have made the meal even more appealing.
The atmosphere is reminiscent of a sports bar, minus the actual bar, but it definitely has the noise level of one. Music was playing in the background, but it was mostly drowned out by the chatter of the other patrons. The noise was noticeable but not too overwhelming. It's sporty, especially with the 3-4 TVs mounted on the walls; however, I found myself more captivated by the planes landing and taking off, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Most of the tables were filled, but the service was well-managed. The staff was attentive and friendly, checking in with us multiple times to ensure everything was satisfactory and to see if we needed anything else. My kids were delighted to receive two frisbees, which was a nice touch. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and it certainly was worth it. The Philly Cheese Steak Sub was fresh and hot, filled with the usual peppers, onions, and cheese. I saved some for the next day, and it tasted just as good, if not better! I also tried a bite of the crispy French toast, which was absolutely delightful—crispy and sweet. Both the sweet potato fries and regular fries were tasty as well. The Grapefruit Mimosa paired nicely with my meal, and they even offered us champagne so we could refill our drinks if we wanted. I opted for unsweetened tea, which was perfectly fine. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and experience, and I can’t wait to return!
Two of our three dishes were delicious. The 3rd (Fishtacos) was sent back. The flour tortillas were cold and the fish was contaminated and boiled. It wasn't salvageable. The restaurant has corrected it. My brother recommended this place and made available based on the service, I would definitely try again.
The service was very good. The food was okay. I ordered the Crab Cake Hash it tasted good. I didn't think it had much flavor. It came with potatoes. They needed a little seasoning. Under the potatoes lay a thin layer of hollandaise sauce. It was good but barely any. The Nutella waffle tasted great. The waffle was delicious. It had a good taste and texture. The restaurant is located in an airport hanger area. The entrance doesn't look like an entrance but it is. The restaurant has a nice view of the airport and it's nice and casual inside.
