Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Fort Collins

Waited 20 minutes for a smoothie. great eating, but always very slow, no matter how many people work.

To be honest, I love this place most of the time. Their food is good and I like the smoothies. So I guess I just need to say this review is honestly about just one thing...the kale slaw. When I got the kale slaw, I wasn't paying attention and bit into a huge piece of kale stem. I looked closer and found many kale stems in the slaw. Kale stems, when raw, are very very bitter and awful to eat. I realize this recipe issue might not be the fault of this particular location but I just thought I would mention it because it absolutely ruined the rest of my food due to the lingering bitter taste.

Please pay attention. You gave me the wrong order for a “Matthew E”, I did not order a chipotle flatbread with corn, nor can I eat this. Only other option is to re order and wait another 45 mins for my food. And I have to wait 3 5 days for a refund. Not happy.

The lady who took our job was quite rude. could have been a little nicer.

Obsessed with this place. Good clean food, and smoothies to die for. The staff always seems to be happy and as a business owner I know that means they are doing something right for employees to smile... just cuz. Great job guys!
