Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Fort Collins

My wife placed her order while our three-year-old played with the service bell. He was just having fun, ringing it occasionally. The young man who took our order was very friendly and polite, which was great. However, I was shocked when I overheard two female employees making comments about my son, almost as if they thought I couldn’t hear them. They said he should stop his "annoying feelings," implying that he needed to quiet down or else. Normally, I would have spoken up about this, but instead, I decided to tell my family we were leaving. I don’t understand why those employees felt it was okay to talk about my family that way. I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant because it looked promising, but it's disappointing to see such behavior from young staff members who seem disinterested in being friendly or welcoming.

The lady who took our job was quite rude. could have been a little nicer.

Waited 20 minutes for a smoothie. great eating, but always very slow, no matter how many people work.

We waited 30 minutes for two smoothies. The service was too slow, and for a solid 10 minutes, we didn't even hear a blender running. We won't be coming back.

The smoothies need to be blended for a longer time. There was too much ice, and I encountered chunks of banana and whey that clogged my straw, making it difficult to enjoy the drink.
