Karli was a fantastic host! Very knowledgeable on the topic of saké and a pleasant and talented person to speak with. She brings a level of sophistication to Saké One that has been missing in the past. Thank you, Karli for the experience!
Love coming here to pick up my shipment of sake …. and my complimentary tasting. Largest importer of sake in the u.s. ; who would have thunk it?!? Best kept secret!
Super unique drinking experience. Tours weren’t open the day we visited, but the person working did a fantastic job explaining everything about sake making. Probably spent 2 hours here going through each flight (split between 3 people.)Also the charcuterie board was fantastic. Great dining area. Definitely will be back!
Can’t recommend SakeOne enough! My dad and I came out here for the Sake Brewery tour and a tasting, and we were not disappointed. Steven led the tour and was extremely knowledgeable about the sake making process and the history of sake. We both left the tour with a new appreciation for the craft. Particularly the fact that sake is not just rice wine, but it’s own distinct alcohol, and also that SakeOne is one of only two sake breweries in the United States. After the tour, we were able to taste 9 delicious sakes (some brewed locally and some imported). Steven provided a breakdown of each sake we tasted and even some history on the Japanese sake breweries. My favorite ended up being the Murai Family Nigori Genshu.Overall, we had a terrific experience at SakeOne and will definitely be back to taste again in the future.
