Chili's Grill - Forest City

Haven't been to this location in years, but because it's Sunday and all the local places are closed and we wanted a drink with dinner, we took a chance and...

The food was really good and our waitress was great. However, the hostess was absolutely and totally rude to the point that we tried to go out and go somewhere else. She was rude when we first came in, didn't greet us, then rude when we asked for seats. She had been waiting for us for over 15 minutes to finally get us to a table that was unoccupied all the time. Then when we sat, my husband asked her a question about the drinks menu as she went past, and she said rudely, I wouldn't know, ask your waitress . It was neither crowded nor hastened, it had no reason to act as it did. I didn't get her name, but I'm sure you can figure out who she is. We were there on 06/29/2022, 8 or 8:30. If they have some manners when it comes to helping customers, then they should certainly not be your front of the house. We spent almost $200 last night just dealing with it. If she had been a waitress, she wouldn't have gotten a tip, and I'd tap ALWAYS and tap well. Luckily our waitress was great and she got a tip to reflect that. As far as the host goes, do better.

We visited this location in Forest City and enjoyed our visit here. Our lunch was good. We were welcomed with friendly staff and were quickly deployed. Our server was nice and very helpful to get what we wanted. We had a pleasant time here. Our food was good. It's a nice place to eat. We were able to dinate in what was beautiful. Thank you.
